What is the difference between hitman absolution and hitman absolution professional

They both look very good and detailed imo, and even thou absolution has less replay value its still a pretty lenghty game. Absolution put being "cool" above all else. And it was, sometimes. When it wasn't being plain stupid or edgey for the sake of it. There was a great set of stealth mechanics itching to be set loose in that game and HITMAN was when they decided to do that, putting the fun first.

These are some of the most dense, detailed sandbox maps in the entire series. I honestly think that Paris, Sapienza and Hokkaido might be in the top five levels Io Interactive have ever made. There's potential ways to kill your targets everywhere you look and countless disguises for you to blend in and infiltrate with. They kept what was good from Absolution, such as improvised weapons found around the environment busts, fire extinguishers etc and toned down or removed the things nearly everyone complained about x-ray vision, grindhouse theme, linearity.

I mean, the new game is not without problems, there are a number of things still absent from the classic games which makes some scenarios fall a little flat. The missions are mostly separate from one another, so the story is fairly light and there's nothing like the notoriety mechanic in Hitman Blood Money, where how much chaos you caused in the previous mission affected the next one.

You can't customize your weaponry at all, although they try to get around this by having variants you unlock by completing challenges. Absolution actually had better replayability in that sense, due to its unlock shop and allowing you to start in a wide variety of costumes, but the various challenges, opportunities and escalations in the new game do go a long way to making you wanna replay it.

For dumb story reasons, most of Absolution does not have you doing contract killer work at all. The new one is an actual assassination game instead of a game where you're constantly on the run, and when it all comes together it makes you feel like an absolute badass. It depends on how you want to play! Absolution has a deeper played out storyline but is linear in playing, once i finished absolution i had no reason to play it again but it was a fun game. HITMAN is more about figuring out different routes and ways to kill your target and has a way better replay value than Absolution.

Hitman 16 is by far the better game, but blood money was better. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 4 May, am. Posts: Discussions Rules and Guidelines. Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising, and problematic harassment, fighting, or rude posts.

View mobile website. I bought entire Hitman Bundle mainly because I wanted to try out all of the Hitman games first. What is your suggestion? I only have two hours left to make up my mind! If you already own Hitman: Absolution you cannot upgrade to the professional edition because Steam will not allow it. Slash View Profile View Posts. Just bought the professional edition, but where the heck is the digital book and the making of video?

I can't find it anywhere to download. Per page: 15 30 Date Posted: 25 Sep, pm. Posts: 5. Discussions Rules and Guidelines.
