It really wouldn't work all that well if it was an activated ability either as it would make it very easy for people to spam it, even if it were to require a cool off period between each use. ZED time happens when you kill zeds like a boss. Its boring, inefficent, and really a dtriment to the game since yo ucan't captilize on it. This game isn't for me. Last edited by HarryUK ; 3 May, pm. Improve this question. Add a comment. Active Oldest Votes. I am assuming you mean Zed Time. Zed time triggering is random you either gotta kill zeds very quickly i. For some reason fire and poison healing grenades doesn't trigger zed time, even if you multi kill with say a molotov.
The only way i've seen is with flare revovlers or a trench gun which count as bullet damage. Another ironic way is zeds can trigger zed times.
