You are required to sit for the five subtests in person at a state-designated New York test center. New York is one of only four states that completely subsidize the high school equivalency test for its residents. The TASC is available both in a computer-based format and on paper, but not at all testing sites so get well informed. Students with disabilities can apply for testing accommodations. YWCA provided step-by-step guidance, opening up new doors. They are extremely helpful. My experience with the YWCA has been wonderfully spectacular. Now I feel prepared to go and take the test. I would recommend this program to my friends and anyone interested in a GED program. Thanks to the staff who helped in preparing this program and a big thank you to the teacher who made it possible by creating a stress-free classroom environment that was perfect for learning.
